Where Karachi’s working day is set
No part of Karachi concentrates more desks per street. Saddar Town holds the Sindh Secretariat on Court Road, the Sindh High Court and City Courts, and the KMC Building. One street over, II Chundrigar Road, Pakistan's Wall Street, carries the Pakistan Stock Exchange, the State Bank and the headquarters of Habib Bank, United Bank, the National Bank and Standard Chartered, under the MCB Tower and Habib Bank Plaza. The Karachi Press Club's two thousand-plus journalists work from Sarwar Shaheed Road, and media houses including Hum and Geo are headquartered in the same quarter.
Everyone here eats on somebody else's clock. Courts rise and sit at fixed hours; the stock exchange trades in set sessions, and on Fridays it splits the day around a long Jumma break. Saddar's famous food, Burns Road above all, belongs to the evening; at one in the afternoon a bank floor or a chamber of lawyers cannot wander off to Empress Market and queue. Lunch has to arrive, complete, at the break.

Our breaks are fixed by court and market hours. Can delivery match?
That is exactly what the plan is for. You give us the break time your office actually takes, and the sealed boxes arrive for it every working day. On Fridays, when the stock exchange splits its sessions around the Jumma break, offices often set a later lunch, and the plan follows your time, not ours.
What is the minimum order in Saddar?
Ten boxes a day on the office plan, or ten people on the weekly plan. Smaller offices can order from the regular menu any day, delivery Rs 150, free over Rs 2,000.
