Office lunch in DHA, on your clock.

Defence was built as a housing authority, Phases 1 to 8 plus a newer city out on the M-9 motorway, and each phase grew its own commercial heart rather than sharing one centre. As Karachi has decentralised, businesses have steadily moved out of the old central district into Defence, so DHA today holds a real office population scattered across dozens of small commercial pockets, clinics, banks, salons, schools and studios.

That spread is exactly what breaks office lunch. Zamzama in Phase V runs its designer boutiques and coffee shops, Bukhari Commercial in Phase VI packs cafés into a few lanes, and the khayabans that link it all, Ittehad running through Phases VI to VIII and Korangi Road tying Phases I and II back to Shahrah-e-Faisal, are slow going at midday. Sending someone out costs them the whole break. A fixed-time delivery run, planned phase by phase, is the practical answer.

Pulao Pot cooks office boxes in small batches and seals every one: chicken biryani or beef yakhni pulao. Set the plan once, chicken, beef or the weekly rotation, and the same order lands at the same time daily, billed once a month.
